Here we are standing on one rampart of the new castle looking back toward Kam'yanets. The Dennaya and Novaya towers are closest just over the parapet. Then the Rozhdankaya Tower is to the left. Just beyond the Turkish bridge we see the city gate fortifications (including the one with the Armenian restaurant) and just beyond and above the large Armenian bastion. The modern buildings of the new city are on the horizon, across the Smotrich River. (See city plan. See castle plan
