KAM'YANETS - OLD CASTLE

This view of the old castle is from its northern side. On the right we see part of the later or New Castle bastions and curtain wall built for artillery. Below is the top of the Vodnaya or water tower that rises from the level of the river. The river is between it and the houses in the foreground. (See castle plan.)
