KAM'YANETZ-PODIL'SKII

As we drive from the west toward the city, of which the new part is seen on the horizon, we can barely see the top of the castle and buildings in the old part of town. From here it appears to be in a valley, but it is actually on a very steep sided ridge with the ox-bow of the river on three sides.
