The Vantage Travel Company leases
the Nicolai Chernishevski regularly each summer and organizes 9 or10 cruises
between Moscow and St Petersburg.
|
|
|
Here we have photos of events and
individuals taken during our cruise on board the Chernishevski in July 2005.
Everyone in our party agreed that it was a very enjoyable and memorable
occasion. For photos of the Volga and other rivers and lakes please go to
Volga.

The daily ship schedule noted
that there would be a 'surprise' dinner. But we were nevertheless startled to
find on entering the restaurant that there had been a 'mutiny' by the crew who
donned pirate garb and took over for a great party.
|
|
|
The 'pirates' led by the ship's
purser herself hiding behind dark glasses have captured Eckhart, the Vanguard
'hotel' honcho and have him tied up for ransom.
