THE CIVIL WAR OF 1918-1921

This is the famous After Action study conducted by the Soviet General Staff on the conduct of the Civil war of 1918 -1921 Under the general editorship of A. S. Bubnov, S. S. Kamenev, M. N. Tukhachevsky, and R. P. Eideman. - Titled STUDY OF THE STRATEGIC OPERATIONS OF THE RED ARMY. I also have the many maps that are an integral part of this study, but, unfortunately, the copy is too uninteligible for satisfactory reproduction. Also, I cannot vouch for the transliterations of place names, especially the Polish places. No doubt that without use of the maps understanding of the detailed tactical descriptions will be difficult. But, hopefully, the reader will obtain an appreciation for Soviet analysis methods and strategic thought. This series also includes a study on the Soviet conquest of Central Asia and the report of a conference held after the war on the Soviet-Polish war.
