RUSSIAN RULERS

  {short description of image}

Ivan Vasil'evich III - (reign, 1462 - 1505) the Great who greatly strengthened Muscovy, the grandfather of Ivan IV. He is the first of the rulers of Moscow and Russia whose figure is depicted in the wax museum. Although the title of the display is the Romanovs, his inclusion is apt as he was the first real tsar and certainly the expert practicioner of power and intrigue.
