SVYATOSLAV OL'GOVICH (ca 1081- ca. 1164-6)

He was the son of Oleg Svyatoslavich, prince of Chernigiv and Feofana Muzalon. He became ca 1139 appanage prince of Novgorod-Severia, to which his father had been relegated. He moved up to be prince of Chernigiv (1158-64) and appanage prince of Kursk. He married Maria (possibly the daughter of Petril I, posadnik of Novgorod). They had sons, Igor, Oleg, appanage prince of Novgorod-Severia; Vsyevolod, appanage prince of Kursk-Trubchev, and daughters. He appears on this family chart.
