IVAN VSYEVOLODOVICH (ca 1197-8 - ca 1247)

 
   
 

He was the youngest son of Vsyevolod III Yur'yevich Bol'shoye Gnezdo, grand prince of Vladimiir and his first wife, Maria Shvariovna, Ossetian princess. He was given an appanage at Starodub in 1238 by his brother, Yuri II (just before the terrible Mongol invasion). The territory had been given to Vladimir, but he died in 1228 without heirs. The family is shown on this chart. Ivan's son was Mikhail, appanage prince of Starodub. Ivan's descendents are shown on this chart.
