Prilbits A style of the barmitsa worn with a misyurka. As shown here, when this mail was attached directly to the helmet instead of to a skull cap, then it was a type of barmitsa. This one covered the front of the face like a Moslem woman's veil. It had narrow slits for the eyes. The lower part was called a bentsa and the upper part the cherepa. |
