Kremlin Arsenal building with captured trophy cannon display. The building was begun by Peter I as a storage place for weapons but not completed until 1736. It was rebuilt after a fire and then destroyed once more by Napoleon. The current structure is by Bove and dates from 1816-28. The 875 captured French cannon were collected for a museum to 1812 that never materialized.
