View of part of the ceremony that takes place here every July 18 on the feast day of St Sergius. The singing of the Russian choir of metropolitans and archmandriates is magnificent. After a service in the Uspenski Cathedral they process to the well. The cover is on the left and the white wall of the Church of the Descent of thee Holy Spirit (Dukhovski ) is on the right rear. It was built in 1476-77 by architects from Pskov.
