3 funt (78 mm) 44 barrel mortar battery system, A. K. Nartov. It was built in 1754 at the St Petersburg arsenal. It consists of bronze mortar barrels of 76 mm caliber and length 23 cm. The barrels are arranged around a horizontal wheel so they can fire in sequence. - see # 63. |
