Reviewer's Comment
This is a professional career Air Force officer's exposition of the same
Chinese strategy as described by Bill Gertz, Johnathan Ward, and Michael
Pillsbury. The Chinese since the Communist Party victory in 1949 have set their
goal as surpassing the United States by 2050. He describes the many forms of
economic warfare in which they have been engaged for decades. And he faults
American and 'Western' theory about how the process of becoming a modern
country would simultaneously create a democratic society.
