This volume contains seven Chinese classic texts translated by several
different English scholars. And Ken Mondschein provides an excellent
introduction. The authors are Confucius, Mencius, Lao Tzu, and Sun Tzu. The
purposes of the book are to place the thought of Sun Tzu into its context in
Chinese philosophy and to assist the reader in an understanding not only of Sun
Tzu but that wider philosophy
