This is a very valuable identification and comment about five
attributes of human psychology that influence making decisions. History is a
record of human ideas, decisions, and actions. Human psychology is decisive
even though individual humans live in specific geographic environments that
effect all three of the above. And these also effect all the humans who
comprise the society in which they live.

1 People suffering from sudden, unexpected hardships are likely to
adopt views they previously thought unthinkable
|
|
|
2 Reversion to the mean occurs because people persuasive enough to make
some thing grow don't have the kind of personalities that allow them to stop
before pressing too far

|
3 Unsustanable things can last longer than anticipated
|
|
|
4 Progress happens too slowly for people to notice; setbacks happen too
fast for people to ignore
|
|
|
5 Wounds heal, scars last
|
|
|
