Reviewer comment:
This is the final book in the author's four on what anthropology investigations
in Africa have revealed about early humans. His work has been to recognize,
analyze, and popularize the remarkable discoveries and theories of Louis, Mary
and Richared Leakey and the complementary work of Raymond Dart. In this book
Ardrey summarized the discussions that ensued since the publication of his
first books on the subjet. The Wikipedia entry for Ardrey's biography contains
an excellent discussion of all his books.
