Dragoon, Cadet (1813-16) - The hats changed to the bell topped shako - An
artillery private is seated on the log ( yellow buttons and collar trim, and
yellow strap on front of hat) the infantryman is lighting his pipe ( white
buttons and collar trim, and white strap on front of hat); and a rifleman has
his foot on the log ( grey coat); to the right rear are a standing officer of
light dragoons and a mounted officer of light artillery. To the left rear a
West Point cadet salutes an artillery officer.
