This is the second line in Plate I of the article on uniforms in 11th edition of Encyclopedia Britannica. This shows the further developement of standardization and elaborate dress during the Napoleonic period. But the gaters and waiscoats of the French and Austrian Uhlan should be white. But the uniform of the Austrian Deutschmeister Regiment should be grey.
