SUDAK - CRIMEA

This photo was taken on the narrow road south of the fortress leading down to the Byzantine port area, now a tourist beach. The fortress is behind us. The picture shows the next adjacent mountian. The face of this mountain dropping directly to the sea is just like the face of the mountain on which Sudak fortress is built. One can see the next adjacent low spot and then the next mountain.
