SUDAK - CRIMEA

The view off the cliff railing to the north and sea past the corner of the Commandant's (Consul's) Tower. The modern town of Sudak lies in this valley along the coast. It is now a favorite summer resort, as one can guess from the look of the beach. The precipice behind the railing is a direct drop to the sea. The upper defensive wall is behind us here.
