Medieval cave city and monastery in hill country east of Sevastopol. We were guided throughout during our educational tour in summer 1997 by Dr Oleg Belli, an expert on all the ancient cave cities of southern Crimea. Here is an article describing the 'cave cities' of southern Crimea. For location see the map at Crimea map.
