Entrance to the Terra Cotta warrior museum -
(Bingmayong) - now a huge tourist attraction. The underground army was
discovered accidentally by two farmers digging a well in 1974.

now a huge tourist attraction. But this is only a part of the huge complex
designed by the first emperor - Qin Shi Huangdi - The larger area is called Qin
Shihuang Ling. The main tomb (not excavated) is a mile to the west.

inside the museum - the main vault contains an army laid out in 11 columns with
officers, soldiers, chariots, each created as an individual personage. There
are also two smaller vaults discovered in 1976.
