U.S. Air Force, Intelligence Service, Special Studies Division, 1986, 113 pgs. index, glossary, paperback, a list of 337 publications

This is an excellent reference work. The author, editor, Douglas Cruickshank, has provided a summary of the concept and a remarkable, annotated listing of this extensive collection of sources. Of course, many more publications on Soviet Maskirovka have been issued since 1986 but the theory and practice has not changed except by the application of new technology. No doubt new documents may be found in Inernet today, but this is a very useful basic reference.
